Can you open your studio data in the desktop app with no connection?
Lemon Link loads your live studio, so it needs a connection, the same as the browser. What that means, and what the app does on your computer instead.
No. Lemon Link doesn't keep a copy of your contacts, bookings, orders or galleries on your computer. It loads your live studio in its own window, so it needs a connection, the same as the browser, and it always shows your current data.
Why one live set of data
A copy on your computer would only be as current as its last sync, and edits made in two places would need reconciling. Loading the live studio keeps exactly one set of data, so a change made in the window is the same change you see in the browser.
What the app does on your computer
- Writes alt text for your photos with a small AI model, free. The photo never leaves your computer; only the text is uploaded.
- Picks up jobs queued for your computer from the tray, with no window open.
- Gives the Lightroom plugin 2.0 alt text as it publishes.
Frequently asked questions
Does Lemon Link work without an internet connection?
No. It loads your live studio, so it needs a connection, the same as the browser.
Does it keep my client data on my computer?
No. Your contacts, bookings, orders and galleries stay in your lemon.gallery account, and the window shows them live.
Why doesn't it keep a local copy?
One live set of data means nothing to sync and nothing to reconcile. The window always shows the same studio as the browser.
