What the desktop app keeps on your computer, and what it doesn't
Where your client data lives when you use Lemon Link, what the app downloads to your computer, and what it uploads when it writes alt text.
Your client data stays in your lemon.gallery account. Lemon Link loads your live studio in a window, so it doesn't keep a copy of your contacts, bookings or orders on your computer. What it does keep there is a small AI model that writes alt text for your photos.
The model on your computer
Nothing is downloaded until you press Download on the desktop settings screen. The model then writes alt text for your photos, free, one photo at a time at low priority, and pauses when the battery is low.
What leaves your computer
Only the text. The photo never leaves your computer; the alt text is uploaded to your studio.
What it is not
It isn't a backup or a second copy of your studio. Your lemon.gallery account is the one set of data, and the window shows it live.
