Remote venues and the desktop app: what to expect
Lemon Link loads your live studio and needs a connection. What that means at a remote venue, and what your computer at home can do while you're there.
Lemon Link loads your live studio, so at a remote venue with no coverage the window can't show a booking, a contact or a gallery, the same as a browser tab. It doesn't keep a copy of your studio on your computer.
Why it works this way
Loading the live studio means one set of data, always current, with nothing to sync and nothing to reconcile when you're back in signal.
What it does while you're away
Its work runs on your computer, not at the venue. If your computer is on with Lemon Link in the tray, it picks up jobs queued for it, and you can start an alt text run from your phone when you have signal. You get a notification when it's done.
