How a deposit-required booking holds a slot temporarily and confirms it only once payment clears.
A service can require a deposit before a booking confirms. Starting checkout holds the slot for fifteen minutes; if payment doesn't complete in that window, the hold releases and the time becomes available again.
Once the deposit clears, the booking confirms automatically, writes to your connected Google Calendar, and ticks the project's Deposit stage on the workflow board without any manual step.
