How to Send a Photo Gallery to a Client

Step by step: creating a gallery, setting access, and sharing the link so a client can view and download their photos.

  1. Create a new gallery and give it a clear title, usually the client's name and shoot type.
  2. Upload the finished images, either from the web or directly from Lightroom Classic.
  3. Choose a cover style and gallery theme to match your brand.
  4. Set any access controls — password, email gate, or a download PIN.
  5. Publish the gallery and copy the link to share by email.

The client opens the link, enters whatever access detail you've required, and browses their photos directly — no account or app needed on their end.

Frequently asked questions

Can I preview a gallery before the client sees it?

Yes — an unpublished gallery is visible only to you, so you can check everything before making it live.
