Free Pixieset Alternative
A free Pixieset alternative: lemon.gallery's free plan includes 8GB of gallery storage plus the CRM.
Free tiers on gallery platforms are often capped tightly enough that they only work for a single small shoot. lemon.gallery's free plan includes 8GB of gallery storage, which comfortably covers several full shoots depending on file size, plus the entire CRM at no cost.
- Client galleries with watermarking and email/PIN gating.
- Print and digital sales at a 2.5% platform fee, taken from the sale rather than a subscription.
- The full CRM: leads and bookings, contracts and invoicing, plus automations.
Who Free Pixieset suits — and when you outgrow it
Photographers searching for a free Pixieset alternative usually want to deliver and sell galleries without paying a monthly fee while they're starting out. Pixieset's free tier exists, with 3 GB of photo storage and a 15% commission on store sales (checked 5 October 2026).
What moving to lemon.gallery changes
lemon.gallery's free plan is unusually generous: the entire CRM — bookings, contracts, leads, invoicing — is free forever, and galleries include 8GB of storage at no cost, with only a small platform fee on sales until you upgrade.
Start on the free plan, deliver real client galleries, and upgrade to Solo when you want the sales fee removed, or to Pro when you need more storage.

What's actually free?
The full CRM plus 8GB of gallery storage, with per-image sales enabled — you only pay to remove the storage cap and the small sales fee.
Is there a catch on the free galleries?
Just the 8GB cap and a 2.5% platform fee on sales; everything else, including contracts and bookings, is included.
Does the free plan run out after a trial period?
No, it's a permanent free tier, not a time-limited trial.
Can I sell prints on the free plan or only digitals?
Both — print and digital pricing are available from the free plan, with print orders fulfilled automatically through Prodigi like any paid tier.
