Live Event Galleries: Photos on Guests' Phones in Seconds

Shoot an event and the photos land in a public QR gallery within seconds. Delivery can be open, gated by email or paywalled, and every scan becomes a lead.

The usual gap between shutter and delivery is one to two weeks. Lemon Live shrinks it to the same hour. A small watcher app runs on your laptop, and every JPEG your tethered export drops into a folder is live in a public gallery seconds later, with your preset already applied.

How do guests find their photos?

You print or display a QR code from the event page. Guests scan it and land on a dark, phone-first gallery that grows while you keep shooting. It checks for new photos every six seconds, so a guest who just walked past your camera can watch their photo arrive.

How does it make money?

Three delivery modes. Open gives instant downloads, right for corporate work where the client already paid. An email gate trades a download for an address, and every scan becomes a contact in your CRM. Paywall mode shows watermarked previews free and sells the clean file through Stripe, which spreads your name around the room while the people who want files pay for them.

The event page tracks scans and downloads live, with revenue alongside, and venues notice when half their guests are looking at your gallery before the night ends. Event tools that do a version of this charge around £20 a month on their own.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if the venue wifi is bad?

The uploader queues and retries with backoff, and runs happily off a phone hotspot. A dropped connection delays photos rather than losing them.

Does it use face recognition?

No, deliberately. Guests browse chronologically or by sub-group QR. Face search drags in biometric data obligations under UK GDPR and it clashes with how we think photo delivery should work.

Can I sell photos from a live gallery?

Yes. Paywall mode shows free watermarked previews and sells the clean full-resolution files through Stripe checkout, including a whole-gallery bundle.
