Data Deletion Instructions

Deleting your lemon.gallery account

If you run a studio on lemon.gallery, open Settings → Data → Close your account on the web, in the desktop app or in the phone app. Type your email address to confirm, and your password unless you sign in with Google or Apple. We won't close an account while Stripe still holds a payout for you or while one of your clients is still paying you through a retainer or a storage plan; the page tells you what to settle first.

We email you when the account is closed. Download your data first from Settings → Data: once the account is closed you can't sign in to fetch it.

Deleting your login as a team member

If a studio invited you onto its team, open Settings → Data → Delete my login while you are in that studio. Your own login is erased straight away and you leave every studio team you belong to. The studio's clients, galleries and invoices belong to the studio and are not affected, and it keeps its record of the work you did for it, such as the shoots you were crewed on. Anything your own account holds follows the rules above.

If you can't sign in

Email privacy@lemon.gallery from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We check the request comes from you, then close the account exactly as above within one month.

Instagram, Facebook, Threads and Meta Ads

Instagram — if you're a studio using lemon.gallery

Go to Settings → Integrations → Instagram and disconnect the account, or remove the app from Instagram → Settings → Apps and websites. Either way, we delete the stored access token and every conversation record tied to that Instagram account — the contacts, message threads and comment history LemonChat had filed against it — straight away, not on a delay.

This only removes what LemonChat stored from Instagram. It doesn't touch your wider lemon.gallery account, clients or galleries — see the main Privacy Policy for that.

Instagram — if you messaged or commented to a studio

We're a processor here, not the controller — the studio you contacted controls that conversation, the same as any message they receive. The fastest route is to ask them directly, or disconnect via Instagram yourself (above), which removes it immediately on our side.

Prefer to ask us: email privacy@lemon.gallery with the Instagram username involved and roughly when you messaged, and we'll delete the stored conversation and let the studio know it's gone.

Instagram — what gets deleted

The Instagram account's access token, the contact record for anyone who messaged or commented (their Instagram-scoped id, username and any name Instagram gave us), and the message/comment content LemonChat filed against them. Anything already mirrored into the studio's own CRM as a linked contact or booking is the studio's data at that point, covered by the normal retention rules in the Privacy Policy, section 7.

Facebook Pages and Threads

Disconnecting a Facebook Page or Threads profile in Social → Channels deletes the connection, its stored tokens and the comments and replies the social inbox filed against it, straight away. Removing lemon.gallery in Facebook's or Threads' own apps and websites settings switches the connection off and deletes its stored tokens at once; a data deletion request made there also deletes the connection and those comments and replies.

Meta Ads — a separate connection

This is unrelated to Instagram above — a studio linking their own Meta (Facebook) Ads account so lemon.gallery can show its campaign numbers and, if the studio turns it on, send enquiry and booking events back to Meta via the Conversions API.

Email privacy@lemon.gallery naming the connected Meta ad account and we'll disconnect it straight away — we delete the stored access token and its Conversions API dataset id, and any conversion batch we'd queued or already sent to Meta for that account is deleted with it.

Click ids (fbclid) picked up from that account's ad traffic are kept only long enough to match them to an enquiry, per the retention rules in the Privacy Policy; a disconnect clears any still outstanding immediately rather than waiting for that window to pass.

Meta Ads — what gets deleted

The Meta Ads account's access token and Conversions API credentials, its dataset/pixel id, and every CAPI conversion batch — sent or still queued — recorded against it. A lead that already came through as a booking enquiry is the studio's CRM data at that point, same as any other lead, covered by the normal retention rules in the Privacy Policy, section 7.
